On last Wednesday, me and Devi have watched a movie in one of the cinema in Jakarta. We have planned last week but we canceled. And finally, we decided to watch after we finished a Muamalah lesson. Previously, we have planned to watch with one of our friends, but because some reason, he couldn’t participate. We do this plan to watch the Eat, Pray,Love film. This film, we have been waiting for so long. Because besides the novel has a best seller. The Film is played by our favorite player is Julia Robert.
The film begins with Julia Robert as Liz Gilbert life as a accomplished writer and wife, she got depression and decide to divorce with her loving husband Steven (Billy Crudup), and falls into another relationship with David Piccolo (James Franco). Her intimate pursuits made her feeling empty and disengaged, and it’s leads her to the even bolder decision to take a year to travel. Liz's journey begins with she starts out in delicious Italy, moving to India, and on lastly to the peace and unexpected love of Bali.
But beyond expectation, a film dissatisfied for us, not because of the role who was played by Julia bad, but the plot is less able to bring the audience to feel a plot of story .So different with the novel version, that can make the reader carried in the story plot . From my story above, it just based on our opinion who have watched. For those of you who plan to watch, please keep attention for every plot of story with properly. thank you.
